Oculus Principal K. David Meit Appointed Chairperson of Gaithersburg COLTA
GAITHERSBURG, MD – July 1, 2025 – Oculus Realty and Oculus Expert Witness proudly announce the reappointment of K. David Meit, CPM®, to the City of Gaithersburg’s Commission on Landlord-Tenant Affairs (COLTA) as the official Landlord Representative and COLTA Chairperson.
The appointment, confirmed by a unanimous vote of the Mayor and City Council on June 16, 2025, marks Meit’s transition from Alternate Member to a full voting member. He will also assume the role of Chairpersoneffective July 1.
With nearly 35 years of property management and real estate operations experience, Meit brings a uniquely qualified perspective to COLTA’s mission of resolving disputes and fostering balanced, fair housing practices for landlords and tenants alike.
